Logic has been heavy in my rotation since the fall. I feel like no matter what he makes is so damn good! Mixtapes, albums – they’re all catchy with great meaning / hooks. I’ve listed my favorites from each of his albums.

Blue by You // Turnstile

Hardcore is another genre I got super into as well in the fall of last year. I love both punk & metal so it’s no surprise this hybrid of the two fell into my lap. Turnstile is easily my favorite I’ve found so far, but I also enjoy Knocked Loose & Code Orange.

Saturnalia // Marilyn Manson

Growing up, I was the kid who made fun of the goth kids, (because I secretly wanted to be one but was too worried about what others thought of me) but here I am at 23 obsessed with the new Manson record. This record started coming up on Spotify’s Slipknot radio & the more I heard, the more I couldn’t get enough.

Froot // Marina & the Diamonds

Marina used to be one of my faves in high school & after listening to her again in recent months, I remember why. Her voice & overall aesthetic makes her one of the most unique of our generation. She also announced on Twitter this week she is releasing a new album in the fall!

Lonely // Demi Lovato

Demi is forever my favorite. I have been a fan of her since seeing her on tour with the Jonas Brothers in 2008 & at times, it feels like I’ve grown up with her. Her music has always spoken to me. I felt a little less alone after watching Simply Complicated & seeing her go through some issues similar to my own. I only recently listened to Tell Me You Love Me & I can’t lie, I’m kicking myself. This project is easily her best album. I always look forward to what Demi has in store but I can’t help but predict that her next record will be even better than TMYLM.

Broken Clocks // SZA

2017 was an awesome year for new artists & SZA was just one of the artists who got their big break. Hearing Drew Barrymore for the first time was one of my most iconic moments of 2017.
