Hey guys! I was feeling a little under the weather last week so I’m coming at you with my September songs a little later:

 

Fight the Feeling // Mac Miller

Mac’s passing at the beginning of last month hit me hard. Growing up in western Pennsylvania, I got the chance to watch Mac grow & prosper as an artist. I loved his early work but I also loved the artist he became. We were always rooting for him. Macadelic & Best Day Ever both got me through some of the toughest times.

 

Controlla // Drake

I felt that most of Drake’s Views was overplayed & abandoned it for the longest time, Controlla has been a forgotten bop of mine.

 

SICKO MODE // Travis Scott

ASTROWORLD was in my rotation for most of the month of September, I love how the album as a whole is constructed, & each song effortlessly flows into the next. I’m not big into the ‘new wave’ of rap but a few of the songs kept popping up on the Drake & Kendrick Lamar stations & they were too catchy.
